Tulian Lake, nestled in the heart of the Great Himalayan Range, is a hidden gem near Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Perched at an impressive altitude of 3,684 meters (12,087 ft) above sea level, the lake is located 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) southwest of Pahalgam and 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Baisaran.
Known for its pristine waters often adorned with floating ice chunks, Tulian Lake is encircled by majestic mountains rising over 4,800 meters (15,700 ft), their peaks blanketed in snow. The serene setting, surrounded by lush meadows and dense pine forests, offers a tranquil escape for nature enthusiasts and trekkers alike.
